When your money arrives, it’s invested in a money market account. You will receive an email prompting you to log into your account and review your initial allocation based on your financial profile. If you want to change that profile, go to the [TBD] tab and select [TBD].
We recommend you log into your account periodically to review your investment allocation, ensuring you stay on track to meet your goals.

Absolutely. To add to your account, log in, select the Manage tab, select Make a Contribution, and follow the instructions. That contribution can be a transfer from another IRA, a rollover from a retirement account, or come directly from your bank account.
Yes, it is strongly recommended that you select a beneficiary(ies) as soon as possible. You can always make changes later. By designating a beneficiary(ies), your MoA Managed IRA will be immediately controlled by that beneficiary(ies) upon your death. If a beneficiary is not designated, no longer alive, or if we cannot locate any of the named beneficiaries after a reasonable search, the account will be paid in the order of priority:
- Surviving spouse;
- Children, including adopted children, in equal shares (and if a child is not living, that child’s share will be distributed to that child’s living descendants;
- Surviving parents, in equal shares;
- Or estate.
Note: The beneficiary(ies) or executor of the estate will be required to provide a copy of a death certificate to start the process. Please consult your legal and tax professionals for advice specific to your situation.
You always have complete control of your MoA Managed IRA account. However, if you choose to withdraw funds, as with any qualified retirement account, you may be subject to taxation and potential penalties.
The easiest way to exercise any of your withdrawal options is to log into your account, go to Manage, and select Withdraw Funds. Complete and electronically sign an online distribution request.
Note: After you complete the process, funds may take up to 10 business days to arrive at your requested location.
